The Real Final Interview Blog

     It turns out that this is my last blog.  I have to answer some questions about my game. Plus I have to put these questions on here.

  The Big Idea: Provide an update on your team's game topic. What is the most important concept you want your players to learn? The most important thing to me is that they learn how to multiply and divide fractions because they will always need that.

  Making Decisions as a Team: How did your team's ideas about the game topic change over time? My ideas changed over time because at the beginning of the year I wasn’t going to do some of the stuff like my drag and drops but I decided to later on.

  Roles & Responsibilities: Tell us more about your team process. Please each talk about your specific roles, and how you work together.  I came up with all of the ideas because I’m the only one on my team.

  Research: What kind of research went into your game topic? What did you learn about your topic? What message do you want the player to understand? I learned a lot of stuff about my topic and most of it was very scary because most people don’t go to college

  The User Experience: Explain the actions players take in your game. How do you play it? What decisions were made about features to include, and how did you decide? They have to know how to drag stuff and most people do know that.

  Mastering Flash: What Flash resources have been most helpful in your learning so far, and why? How did you locate these resources?  Probably control Z because it helps me with all of my problems when I mess up.

  Overcoming Challenges: What curriculum topic has been most difficult for you so far? How did you overcome this difficulty? What programming features are you most proud of in your game?  Probably the first time I ever had to make something move because that day was very stressful.

Final Interview

       Yesterday we had our final interviews. When we first started I was a little nervous at first. Then later on I got more settled. I think that I did really good. I am a lot better at flash than I was at the beginning of the year. I can't wait until globaloria next year. I am going to be a lot more advanced with flash and I'll be able to help some of our newer class mates. This is probably the last blog of the school year for me.

Game Demo Fix Up

       We have to fix our game demos today. I really need to get working so I have to move fast. We have to add our new game to our game demo's instead of the old ones. I have to link all of my scenes to my game demo. I am going to have to change some button names and take some scenes out. I hope that I get finished because are computers might not work tomorrow. My New Game

        This is a blog about the workings of my new game. My game is finally coming together but I'm not sure if I can finish before the New Yorkians grade my game. My game is very hard to make because I have alot of drag and drops. They took me a long time to master and now I don't think I'll finish. I think that my game is decent but it isn't as good as I thought it would be. It is alot harder to make a game then I originally thought it would be and I now respect computer games alot more. Milk

            Today I'm doing a blog on milk. There is alot of different types of milk like 2 percent, 1 percent, skim, chocolate, organic, and strawberry are the basics. My favorite is chocolate and my least favorite is skim milk. There's alot of things with the word milk in it like Milky Way, milk chocolate, milkshake, milkweeds, overmilk, milkman, milkfish, buttermilk, and foremilk are some of these words.  Hopefully you enjoyed this blog and I hope that you've "Got Milk!!!"
 

Osama Bin Ladin

        Yesterday Osama was shot and killed by American Navy Seals. I feel mixed emotions about this. I feel happy (relieved) but I also feel sad. I feel happy because a relative of mine was killed in 9/11 and he was finally brought to justice but sad because another human was killed. We followed their tradition by burying him at sea and wrapping him in cloth. I think that was a very respectful way to lay him to rest. I am proud to be an American citizen and I'm glad that we have all of the rights that we do. Other places have no rights and it really makes you think about how lucky we all are. Worlds Hardest Game

      I love playing the worlds hardest game because it's really fun. There's a lot of links to it but I gave you one that I really like. This probably is the hardest thing ever. This is one of my favorite games but it is really irritating. I wanted to play it this period but I rather have good grades instead of a good time. I will play this game when I get home though. My Birthday

     April 18th was my birthday. It didn't start off to well because I had to go to school but then it started getting better and better. I got papers back and they were all hundreds and I didn't have any homework. Then we went to my favorite restaurant and ate. It was a really good day but I didn't really have a cake but I don't really care. I never liked cake that much for some weird reason but I love every other chocolatey thing. Physch

        Here's the story. Yesterday I had to dress up for our video presentations. So I put on a dress up shirt and a tie and went to school. I found at that the server was down when I got to school. That means that we couldn't do the presentations because we had to get on the Internet to make them work. Now I have to dress up another day. Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! I really don't want to but okay I will. Hopefully are computers keep working because we are starting to get very angry with them. So Dear Computer if you don't work we are going to destroy you and then we will get different computers that will not be all no worky. Enjoy the angry pictures of people and computers.

Profile Presentations

       We have to do profile presentations today. I'm not but others in our class have to. We are doing it for the people in New York. We have to dress up and I can't today because I have track. So I will be doing it on Wednesday and I'm nervous. When we are done I will give you the link to the video but for now a link to Viddler will have to do. Virtual Pets

      I just discovered the new best thing ever made. It's called Virtual Pets. I wasn't the one that made them but I wish I did because they are awesome. Thet might be the worlds coolest thing at this point and time. There's a monkey, a turtle, a dog, a cat, a wolf, a pig, and a whole lot more. My two favorites are the pig and the monkey. The pig is cool because it rolls around in the mud and the monkey is cool because it jumps around on tree branches. I hope that they keep making new ones because to me they are a huge success. Zoo Pals

     I love Zoo Pals so much. The commercial is not my favorite though. I have six Zoo Pals right now. I have a walrus, a penguin, a dog, a bird, a fish, and a whale. I used to have a giraffe but she had a fatal accident and she is dead. She was a giraffe and her name was Guina Pierra Angledoo. She was put in a trashcan and she was taken to the dump. I blame myself for this loss of life. I hope that she will be found and taken to a new home. Enjoy the pictures of giraffes and if found then please return to me somehow someway. Funny Quotes

      I love funny quotes. They are great. They are probably the best thing that has ever happened to the world. It is fun trying to make quotes and even funner when you look at ones on the Internet. These are some quotes that I found that I thought were pretty hilarious. "Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling." That is some good stuff. Now look at this one. "The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory." That is hilarious to me because it's true. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Now these are ones that have been made in our Globaloria class. "Don't climb the ladder of success." "I got the giggles." This is some good stuff. Computer Malfunction

    Computer malfunction is the right thing to say. My computer ate part of my game. IT ATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!!!!!! I THOUGHT COMPUTERS WHERE SUPPOSED TO BE MY FRIEND!!!!! This makes me really mad as you can probably tell. It is okay though because I just took some of my game from my Game Demo File. I am not nearly as bad off now. I am still  in a good spot right now and I know that I will finish my game on time. If it would have eaten my whole game then I would have cried for ten to twelve hours straight. Japan

What is happening in Japan is a tragedy. Everyone in the world is being affected by this tragedy. People in the U.S. have family members in Japan who they can't reach. There is a lot of fear and anxiety over this horrible earthquake that has occurred. On the top of the blog there is a link that goes to a Japan help site. It says ways that you can help with this. The people of Japan need all of the help that they can get. This is something that we will all remember and together we can make a difference. Adding Animations

    I thought I did this but I guess not. This will give me an A for sure 100 percent. This was kinda hard to do. It was kind of fun but it mostly made me cry my eyes out. This was when I was he worse flash guy around. I have gotten alot better so far this year. This scene didn't come out the way I thought it would but it really looks cool. Boy Scouts

Yesterday we had to go to a boy scouts meeting. It was during Globaloria to. I think that I might be behind now. It really makes me nervous because it took me a while to get ahead.
